Urbania: 1200 Instruments (VST-AU)

Urbania is a versatile virtual instrument built around a large collection of 1,200 presets. The library covers a wide range of sounds, including keys, bells, synths, plucks, brass, strings, basses, 808s and more.

It works well for producers making Hip-Hop, Trap, Drill, R&B, Afrobeats, Pop, EDM and cinematic music. The presets are easy to browse and give you plenty of starting points for melodies, chords, basslines and layered arrangements.

Urbania is designed to be straightforward to use. You can load a preset and start playing immediately, then adjust the sound using the built-in modulation and effects controls.

Features & Effects

Modulation Controls

Urbania includes an AHDSR envelope and three LFOs, giving you control over how each preset moves and responds. You can use them for subtle changes or more noticeable rhythmic and tonal movement.

A limiter and compressor are also built in, so you can control dynamics without opening additional plugins.

Built-In Effects

The effects section includes EQ, visual analyzers, low-pass and high-pass filters, reverb, delay, chorus, phaser, distortion and glide.

Urbanizer FX adds another way to change the character of a preset. It can be used to introduce extra texture, harmonics and movement without leaving the plugin.

Arpeggiator

The built-in arpeggiator offers patterns from 4 to 16 steps. Each step has its own velocity control, making it useful for creating repeating melodies, chords, basslines and rhythmic sequences.

DAW Automation

Urbania supports parameter automation inside your DAW. You can automate filters, volume, panning, effects and other controls to create movement and transitions in your arrangement.
